1 cup evaporated milk -- (carnation)
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks -- beaten
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups coconut
1 cup pecans -- chopped
Mix all ingredients, except the coconut and pecans, and cook over medium heat until thickened. Add the pecans and coconut. Allow to cool before using to frost a cake.
