1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 cups evaporated milk -- (Carnation)
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks -- beaten
2 tablespoons butter -- melted
1 tablespoon vanilla
Combine sugar, flour, salt, egg yolks, and evaporated milk. Cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add butter and vanilla. Mix well. Top with whipped cream.
